Taylor Yarkosky is a Constitutional conservative, job creator, and proven leader. Raised in a small Iowa farm town as the oldest of nine children, he learned the value of hard work long before entering public service. Today, he is a successful job creator and proven leader committed to protecting the freedoms and values that make America great.

After graduating from the University of Iowa, Taylor moved to Florida in 1999 and has proudly called Lake County home since 2004. As an entrepreneur who built businesses from the ground up, he understands firsthand the challenges facing job creators, small business owners, and working families. Through determination and a commitment to free-market principles, Taylor has created hundreds of jobs across Central Florida.

 

A strong defender of constitutional freedoms, Taylor is a proud supporter of the Second Amendment, an NRA member, and a licensed firearms instructor who has trained law enforcement officers and security professionals throughout Florida. He believes public safety begins with supporting those who protect our communities and defending the rights guaranteed by the Constitution.

 

In December 2024, Taylor was elected Chairman of the Lake County Republican Executive Committee, earning the trust of grassroots conservatives and local leaders. As Chairman, he has focused on uniting Republicans, strengthening community engagement, and advancing conservative principles that put families, businesses, and taxpayers first.

 

Taylor and his wife, Courtney, are raising their five children in Montverde and are active members of Lakeside Church. Their family is deeply invested in the future of Lake County and committed to preserving the values that make this community special.

 

Taylor's mission is simple: protect freedom, defend families, support law enforcement, promote economic opportunity, and continue making Lake County the best place in Florida to live, work, and raise a family.
